AREAS - Annual Report on English and American Studies

AREAS is published twice a year in electronic form as an eBook (pdf) at the beginning of each semester and offers regular and comprehensive documentation on the institutes and research activities in English/American Studies at universities in Germany and Austria.

The edition for the summer semester is published in April and contains

- the basic data of the German and Austrian institutes of English and American Studies

- an index of the scientific publications of the German and Austrian institutes of English/American Studies of the past year (annual bibliography)

The edition for the winter semester is published in October and contains

- the complete data of the German and Austrian institutes of English/American Studies (in addition to the basic data, including information on student counseling, international relations, teachers, library)

- the "Research Life" section, in which all current dissertations and habilitations of the institutes are listed as well as all new registrations and degrees
